Dirk Stratton made his Midwest Drift Union debut at the 2014 Streets of Detroit event, piloting a flat-green S13 sporting the now-familiar Stratton Chevrolet insignia on the door. Stratton would return for the full 2015 season, making the top sixteen at round one and bowing out to Jonathan Nerren. Round two would mark the debut of the C6 Corvette, the first to ever compete in MDU. MDU To Pro 2 - Geoff Donati

Geoff Donati made his Midwest Drift Union appearance at round three in 2015. He quickly rose through the ranks and earned the Rookie of the Year title in 2016 followed by an almost flawless 2017 performance. Though he's exited the Pro 2 series midway through the 2019 year, his rise from MDU to Pro 2 is still an interesting story. Kentucky native Jonathan Hurst's first appearance in Midwest Drift Union competition was round one at Gateway in 2016. Though it was his only event of that season, he would return in 2017 with an appetite for a Pro 2 license.
